Hospital Quality best high altitude location in case SHTF

High altitude can be healthy: bright sun, fresh air, etc.
Most USA population is low altitude so medical colleges are low altitude too. So hard to find good high altitude area with good medical care nearby.

University of Wyoming Laramie 7000 feet 0 income tax is the highest university in USA
and 1 or 2 hours from Denver, University of Colorado Boulder, and Colorado State University Fort Collins which are also Rocky Mountain High.

Reno Carson City 5000 feet Nevada is close to Sacramento San Francisco medical and Lake Tahoe for cool summer fun clean air. Albuquerque 5000 feet has a lot in town and not so cold in winter but New Mexico is high tax and hospitals not as good as San Francisco Nevada.
Lubbock Texas 3333 feet has Quite a lot in town without the heat and huge population of central Texas Dallas Houston Austin San Antonio.
Lubbock Texas Tech has medical college, lots of space, low prices, 0 tax, and is close to 10,000 foot mountains in New Mexico!

Salt Lake City is very urban with dust and air pollution probably not as good as Laramie or Reno Carson City or Lubbock.

In Washington the best choice is Seattle – the only ranked hospital in the state. As usual a university hospital where they train doctors.
Huge volume of patients so experts can train doctors properly. Sea level.
Idaho hospitals are worse but not so bad in Boise rather low altitude.

Best for older people to live in a city with a highly ranked medical college nearby. University towns are the best for living anyway.
Students often picky eaters, athletic, smart and training to be doctors or researchers themselves. Lots of recreation, gyms, pools, classes.
Usually lots of apartments within walking distance for students and professors. Always take at least 1 class a semester until you are an MD and Phd too. Test yourself and study the results daily to prevent SHTF.
If you get problems only you will have time enough to study the problem carefully. Also monitor all your family carefully.

Remote areas better for young healthy people before bad diet illness force them into the cities, or need for jobs and education which also requires cities.
